Bibliocom 2004 poster session 1 will be about the project "Nati per
leggere" (Born to read). Subject of the posters -- max.3 for each
library -- can be the activities or the promotion of this project in
general terms

library -- can be the activities or their promotion linked to the use of

RULES OF PARTICIPATION TO THE POSTER SESSION

Deadline for submission posponed to September, 30th
The proposal for the participation to the poster session must arrive
at the Organizing secretariat by September, 15th,
2004 with
the indication of the subject of the poster (or posters).

70x100 cm
Position: vertical
Support:

Assembling and dismantling:
posters must arrive at the Organizing secretariat (Organizing
secretariat Bibliocom Poster Session, Associazione italiana biblioteche,
viale Castro Pretorio 105, 00185 Roma, Tel. 06-4463532, fax 06-4441139,
e-mail: bibliocom@aib.it) by October 20, 2004 or they will be
assembled by the authors helped by AIB staff on October 26, 2004
from 2,30 p.m. to 6,30 p.m. on the occasion of Bibliocom.
If they will be sent by mail, posters must be rolled up and protected
for avoiding damages during the transportation by mail. All the posters
must be removed by the end of the Conference.
AIB will not be responsible for the loss or damages of the posters after
the end of the event. The authors who can be present during the event,
are invited to attend the session on October 28, in the afternoon, in
order to answer to the questions of the visitors.
Smaller copy:
by the same dates a smaller copy of the poster must be sent in computer
format,
PC
compatible.
Style:
posters must be readable from a 2 meters distance at least. The style
must be plain and brief.
Type:
Helvetica
or Times New Roman. Body of the text: 14 points at
least. You should use one type with not so many changes in style
(boldface, italics, underlined type etc.). We recommend you to use
primary colours (red, green and blue) for the text and the complementary
ones for the background and pictures
On the poster you must indicate:
Title, authors; Library, institution;
Area of the project, realization times, progress of the works; Short
description of the project. The text must not have more than 3,000
characters. It is possible to insert graphes, tables, drawing and
pictures.
Publication:
AIB reserves the faculty to publish the posters, on the ground of their
number and financing possibilities, in the Bibliocom 2004 Proceedings.
