In the mobile era, what is the role of physical libraries when every student potentially has a global, virtual library in their pocket? How does ubiquitous access impact reading, writing, and  research? While the fact that these students need these skills may not change, the associated tasks certainly evolve and transform when they have access to technology. We will address the impact of technology on these processes as well as the transformation of libraries from physical repositories to global learning.
